Kent Hayden
President



Kent Hayden joined Pate Rehabilitation in 1991 and has served as President of Pate since 2002. He obtained a degree in Business Administration and enhanced his current leadership skills through prior experience in the insurance industry. Kent is responsible for day-to-day administration, ensuring financial stability, managing growth, and developing and accomplishing corporate goals. Kent handles the oversight of multiple locations in the DFW metroplex and promotes a business dedicated to returning brain injured individuals to their highest level of independence. Kent is a strong advocate in the promotion of brain injury rehab throughout the organization and the community at large.


 
 
Patrick Plenger, Ph.D., ABPP
Director of Clinical Research & Development


Dr. Plenger is board certified in neuropsychology through the American Board of Professional Psychology. Dr. Plenger has conducted research on recovery from acquired brain injury as well as research on localizing focus of seizure to assist with pre-surgical evaluations of patients with intractable seizures. Currently he is conducting research on brain functioning and recovery using Functional Near Infrared Spectroscopy (fNIRS


 
 
Cindy Davie, M.S., CCC-SLP
Vice President


Cindy Davie is a licensed speech-language pathologist who has 30 years of treatment and administrative experience in the field of brain injury rehabilitation. She has served on treatment teams providing leadership in cognitive rehabilitation and functional integration training. She was responsible for the creation of a post-acute residential rehabilitation program for adolescents with acquired brain injury and led that program for 19 years. Her expertise with policy, procedure, and licensing/accreditation standards has led her to participate with CARF as a medical rehabilitation surveyor. She has a deep commitment to brain injury prevention and spent 8 years representing the Think First Foundation in regional high schools. Currently, she is the Vice President for Organization Development at Pate Rehabilitation with a special focus on providing leadership development and coaching within the organization.


 
 
Sid Dickson, Ph.D., ABPP
Director of Clinical Operations


Dr. Dickson is board certified in Clinical Neuropsychology through the American Board of Professional Psychology.  He is Director of Clinical Operations over all facilities and has worked for Pate Rehabilitation since 2001.  In addition to supervision of our brain injury treatment programs, he is involved with research on clinical outcomes, neuropsychological evaluation and intervention, and evidenced-based treatments. 

 
 
Dr. Kier Bison

Kier Bison, Ph.D.
Director of Program Development



Dr. Bison is a Clinical Neuropsychologist and the Director of Program Development for all Pate locations. She has worked for Pate since 1996.  In addition to Program Development, her current role also involves training staff, community education, research, behavior programming, crisis prevention training, patient consultation, and more.
