When it comes to working with brain injured patients and their families, at Pate, we believe there is no room for compromise.
That's why in addition to earning the recognition of the Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities (CARF), Pate Rehab has established our own strict code of ethics.
Here's what CARF has to say about Pate Rehabilitation:
"The recent teams are commended for developing excellent protocols for the management of agitation, cueing, distractibility, elopement, safety, level of responsiveness, orientation, and physically aggressive behaviors."
"The effective orientation and training program for employees is exceptional in its review of the rights of the persons served, as well as the psychological, social, and/or cultural issues of those served."
"Extensive training is in evidence to assist with behavioral management of persons served, utilizing behavior modification, the Sartori method, and/or medications. This training is implemented for all levels of personnel, is monitored extensively, and is utilized with the least intrusiveness possible to maximize the outcomes of the persons served."
Everyone at Pate Rehab is sincerely committed to the individual rights and dignity of not only our clients, but also of those family members, staff members and others in the community with whom we interact. To us, there is simply no other way to conduct business - especially when that business is so deeply personal.
