Pate Rehabilitation offers Programs and Services designed to maximize each client's functioning ability.
Our focus of services may include working with someone who has recently discharged from an acute care hospital, or working with someone who is several months or years post injury. Our goal is returning the individual back to work at the highest level of independence in the community as possible using several special programs.
Pate's treatment program includes:
• Thorough neuropsychological assessment to identify any cognitive impairment or emotional issues. • Functional assessment to determine how an individual is performing their everyday life activities. • Counseling (individual and family) to address psychological issues, including grief and adjustment to injury. • Education and treatment for changes in cognition to assist the individual in effectively mitigating the effects of cognitive impairment associated with MTBI (Mild Traumatic Brain Injury).
