Kristy Bloom was awarded the 2017 Dorn Long Outstanding Clinical Educator Award for her contributions to clinical education during the recent Texas Physical Therapy Association Convention.
Kristy, nominated by one of her many students that interned at Pate, received this award to recognize her consistent record of exceptional clinical mentoring and education for physical therapy students from the state of Texas.
The award was presented by the Texas Consortium for Physical Therapy whose primary purpose is coordinating all aspects of physical therapy education with the financial support of participating statewide universities.
“Kristy continually exemplifies with patients, peers and students her love of helping others with traumatic brain injuries and we are so happy she was recognized by the Consortium for what we see daily,” said Kent Hayden, CEO of Pate Rehabilitation.
Kristy is part of the PT team at Pate’s North Dallas location Villa Creek.
Congratulations Kristy for the Outstanding Clinical Educator award!!
