Pate offers many rehabilitation therapies to our patients with acquired brain injuries. Because of the complexity of the brain, a traumatic injury or medical event like a stroke can affect many of a person’s abilities or a few.
Knowing which therapies are right for an individual and customizing them to the patient’s goals is an essential part of rehab at Pate. Our goal is to provide the optimal program to maximize your loved one’s results.
Types of Rehabilitation Therapies
Pate rehabilitation therapies include physical therapy, occupational therapy, speech and language therapy, aquatic therapy, vocational therapy, cognitive therapy, behavioral therapy, biofeedback, counseling, and even animal assisted therapies like pet therapy with dogs and equine-assisted therapy with horses. We also offer driver rehabilitation therapy for patients who qualify (depending on their doctor’s assessment).
Services are provided directly, by contract, or by referral as appropriate. Providing the right therapy mix at the right time is the Pate way.
